Chaoz-Sama and its Chao Gang Warfare 🔫

Today's interview is with Satori, the mind behind the collection of Chaoz-Sama. His collection has moved over 200 KSM in volume and it's one of the most active NFT communities on Singular.

First of all, tell us a bit about yourself,how did you start your NFT journey? what’s your background in crypto?

I’m just a normal lad, my IRL job is an architect. I love anime and retro games. As for my crypto journey, I am a newcomer, started in the crypto world in January 2021. I started with HOT-LUNA-DOT. Once I got exposure to DOT, I did more research and became a Kusama maximalist.

What made you choose Singular as the platform to mint your art and how were your beginnings?

My NFT project started due to my love for Kusama .I discovered Alice und Bob in late August, DM’ed him and he surprisingly replied. At that time, I saw cryptopunks were the trend which led me to the idea of doing an experimental NFT based on pixel (due to my limited knowledge at that time) . I asked again Alice und Bob where I could mint my NFTs and he linked me to Singular.

You are a very active person in the NFT community of Singular, where do you see the platform/community in the upcoming months?

What I like the most about Kusama is its friendly community, so I took community-building as a vital point for my collection. About RMRK, I think the team is second to none and their work is solid, I am lucky to be treated so well considering that I am not a big personality. I think we can have more exposure in terms of community in the near future as we have new artists, OG collections are increasing in quality over time and most important of all, we have Opensea and big collectors coming into RMRK.

You are pixel art artist, any plans on trying a new style or creating a new collection besides Chaoz-Sama?

I don’t consider myself a pixel artist, I do pixel art because I think “Degenerate Collectors” love pixel art (LoL).In fact, the idea of my collection is from my favourite anime “Dragon Ball” but as I said before, Chaoz is an experimental collection. Once I get all the data and have the right community, I’m going to do a new collection with more improvements, alpha and of course I will be open to try a new style! Please, do note that the new collection will still be related to Chaoz.

Do you have any advice for people beginning their journey in the Dotsama Eco?

I would truly suggest that if you want to learn about Dotsama you should look out for the most well known people that pop on twitter and ask them about joining your community. A Chao member said that “strong communities win” That’s the motto I applied in asset investment or Chaoz

What are the features you are missing the most in the platform?

I would say bidding or a more NFT-friendly wallet. I would also like a way of connecting creators and collectors more easily and last but not least the curated's main page feature could still be unclear for some

Some collections that are on my watch list are Kusama Kings (I think KBL created a community with great people) ,Yumi Kitties, Tako&Yaki ,Shibatales

Let’s go straight to the point-The Chao Gang Warfare- Could you do a brief explanation of it?

Chao Gang War is an experimental MORPG community event, I got the idea from my all time favourite game GTA San Andreas and the war mechanism is from a project which I’m following closely ROME. The idea is to create a more solid & friendly community starting within the Chao-Sama Collections, where all the collectors are equal and they can win it by talking to others. I created “groups” to make it "GTA" kind of style so alliances & betrayals are always open for interpretation. More details on my Twitter

I see you are really focus on growing the community around the Chaoz-Samas. Besides “The Chao Gang Warfare” any other plan you are thinking about?

I have a list of events. For example, here it’s the Chao-cyclopedia

Are you following closely the crowdloans? If yes, what are the projects you are following closely?

No, I am not. I crowdloaned for Picasso ,Bit Country and Subsocial but my main focus now is Chaoz-RMRK-ROME in that order.

What’s the biggest value of being part of the Chaoz-Sama community?

New friends! You can always chit chat, ask for advice, and also… having the chance of earning some KSM through events! I have 3 important people in the group that are constantly giving me advice and support, but in general, the Chaoz community is very supportive with me.
