What is up my friends! Undeniably this week is all about Polkadot Decoded, so a conscious decision has been made to make this week’s weekly into a special edition.

This has also catered for a natural change in timing to get your wag weekly fix. Moving forward, coverage will be from Friday to Thursday. Additionally, in order to allow time to put things together, the weekly will be issued on the following Monday or Tuesday.

Stay tuned, as more changes may be coming soon, as the aim is to enhance the convenience of this wagtastic experience!

TOP NEWS OF THE WEEK

Polkadot Decoded was billed as the ecosystem’s event of the year, and boy did it live up to it. Set over 4 live locations around the world, with additional side events in different cities, the organizers deserve a lot of praise for their efforts.

The program opened up in Hangzhou, with live events staggered over two days across Berlin, Buenos Aires, and New York where proceedings closed.

Currently, the most popular session of the event has been Dr. Gavin Wood’s keynote on Governance 2.0, which has been covered by a number of content creators within WagMedia. The recording is also available online and is compulsive viewing, as it provides a thorough review of Governance and what to expect in the future once the Technical Committee & Council are dissolved. Parathread 2122 has won the 42nd Kusama parachain slot, 41st Auction slot. The identity of the team has yet to be revealed, although there is evidence out there to suggest who the winner is.
Tinkernet crowdloan went live, as they are in the running for the 42nd Kusama parachain slot. Here are the inducement bonuses, the first threshold was reached within 24hrs.
Pendulum has released the tokenomics for the Amplitude chain which will enter the race to win a Kusama parachain from the 42nd auction. They aim to be a bridge that introduces Fiat to Defi and can bring Fiat across from stellar to Dotsama.
