Opinion on spaces where any user can post.

I think the idea of allowing any user to post in a given space is innovative and has hidden benefits for the platform that are yet to be explored, and that will undoubtedly be excellent.

Some of these benefits could include these spaces becoming large internal categories within the platform, created organically by the community and supported by the users themselves, which would contribute to their growth and development. Furthermore, the fact that the creator of these spaces receives a small percentage of what they generate encourages them to promote their use and expansion.

Suggestions:

  • Guide the improvements of these spaces so that they meet the objective of generating large internal categories within the platform.
  • Give the creator of the space the role of moderator, thus allowing them to control and direct the content to keep it relevant and consistent with the theme of the space. For example, if a space is dedicated to discussing cryptocurrency topics, the moderator should have the ability to remove posts that are not related to the main topic.
  • Creating a ranking of these spaces could perhaps be presented as featured categories, which would help users discover and participate in those spaces.
