[09/22] Register for sub0 2022 💻 | Join us at Berlin Blockchain Week ⛓️

Sub0, the Polkadot Developer Conference, is back! Register now for your chance to get free tickets and join us in Lisbon Nov 28-29 for this in-person only event dedicated to all things Polkadot, Substrate, and Web3.

Before we dive in to the rest of the updates… let’s wish a happy belated birthday to Runtime Events, which were merged into the Substrate codebase on the 28th of August 4 years ago. 🎂 As originally conceived:

"Runtime events are roughly equivalent to "Events" in Ethereum ABI model. They're high-level notifications for particular conditions hit by the runtime." - Gavin Wood.
